In Essoyes, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, an estate known as La Pitancerie was created in the 13th century by the Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Molesmes. Today this historic site returns to its original splendor producing Champagne with subtle and unique aromas steeped in tradition.
